Adar Gandelsman

Adar Gandelsman was an Israeli model. She was Miss Israel's first place runner-up and won the title Miss Universe Israel 2017. Adar participated in the Miss Universe 2017 pageant, however, she didn't finish. Gandelsman as well as Miss Universe Iraq Sarah Idan took a selfie together at the pageant. In December of 2017, Idan as well as her family fled Iraq because of the outrage of Iraqi citizens over her posing for a picture with Miss Israel who had also served in the Israel Defense Forces at the time.
