Jacques Bermon Webster II (born on April 30, 1991), better known by his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott), is an American artist, rapper and songwriter as well as record producer. The stage name he uses is that of his beloved uncle, and also the initial name given to Kid Cudi, his inspiration (whose real name was Scott Mescudi). In 2012, Scott signed his first major label contract with Epic Records. He also signed a publishing deal with GOOD Music with Kanye West. He signed a joint recording contract with Epic Records and T.I. in April of 2013. Scott also signed a record contract with Epic as well as T.I. Scott's first long-form album, Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in the year 2013. It was followed with a second mixtape, Days Before Rodeo, in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was the debut album of his studio. The single that became his biggest hit, "Antidote", was featured on it. His second album entitled Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first number-one album on the Billboard 200. Scott's second album, called Birds in the Trap: Sing McKnight (2016), was an album that was a collaboration with Quavo. The album was called Huncho Jack Huncho and included his debut Billboard Hot 100 single, "Sicko Mode", featuring Drake. Scott's Cactus Jack Records album JackBoys debut on the Billboard 200 in late 2019. Following the debut of his hit single "Franchise" (featuring Young Thug and M.I.A.) Scott was the first Hot 100 artist to have three songs reach the top spot in less than a decade in 2020.
